TRAVELING EXHIBITIONS

SURVIVORS
First interactive exhibition on the Sixth Mass Extinction and biodiversity loss.
Survivors
It is a traveling exhibition, created by Tolzu, which emerged in autumn 2019 after the alert about the increasing extinction of species. Based on the neuropedagogy of play and different learning methods.
The exhibition is an invitation to believe, but, above all, to act to reverse the damage we have caused to our home, Planet Earth.
The last great mass extinction in the history of Planet Earth is now. The previous one took place millions of years ago when more than 75% of the species that inhabited it disappeared.
The loss of biodiversity at an accelerated pace, since we are not talking about thousands or hundreds of years, but decades, is alarming. Not only because of the imbalance generated in ecosystems, but also because of the risk of extinction of most living beings, including humans.
In June 2020, in the face of the devastating social and economic scenario caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the World Wide Fund for Nature made an appeal to the international community on the harmful human actions to the environment: in recent years we have seen the emergence of many diseases such as Zika, AIDS, SARS or Ebola which, although they may seem different, have their origin in animal populations under conditions of severe environmental stress.
